Brickworks FAQ
Q: If my set is missing a pieces and/or figures, how will it be valued?
A: Sets that are partially incomplete will be valued as such and may be weighed for bulk depending on how incomplete it is.
Q: I have a rare mini-figure that has a scratch (or other defect). How will it be valued?
A: Mini-figures are valued at 40-70% of used Bricklink average price. Any parts or pieces that would need to be replaced in order to make the figure saleable would be deducted from that.
Q: I would like cash and store credit for my items. Is that possible?
A: All cash purchases are at the discretion of the Brickworks employee but if permitted, a split of cash and store credit is possible.
Q: My sets are dirty and/or covered in dust. Will that affect the value?
A: Possibly. Excessively dirty sets require extra time to clean and may not be able to be cleaned enough to qualify as "good condition". In such cases, Brickworks retains the discretion to offer a lower value for such items or not make an offer at all.
Q: I have a bin of toybox cleanout. It's mostly LEGO®. Will that affect the bulk price?
A: Yes, bulk price offers assume clean condition and 98% official LEGO® content. If the contents are clearly not all LEGO®, in dirty condition or have trash mixed in, the offer value will be lower.
Q: If I have sets that are built at home, should I take them apart before bringing them in?
A: No, leave built sets as is - it is easier to determine condition and completeness while it is built.
Q: I have LEGO®I want to sell for cash only. I don't want to bring it in unless I know I can get cash. What do I do?
A: Please contact us through social media or email with pictures. We'll review and tell you what we'd be willing to offer.
Q: Do you buy large collections?
A: Yes we do, but as collections can vary significantly from one to another, please contact us to discuss directly.
Note: Brickworks has final discretion over all transactions buying or selling and may refuse an offer to buy for any reason including condition or store inventory. Cash offers are not guaranteed.
